Traditional dietary recommendations given to patients to prevent purine load require revision. This article holistically reviews the relevant scientific rationale and available evidence to provide evidence-based dietary recommendations for the prevention and treatment of hyperuricemia and gout and its cardiometabolic comorbidities.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Подагра, как и гиперурикемия, часто связана с серьезными кардиометаболическими и почечными сопутствующими заболеваниями, которые приводят к постоянно повышенным показателям преждевременной смертности в популяции. Традиционные диетические рекомендации, которые даются пациентам с целью предотвращения пуриновой нагрузки, требуют пересмотра.
