The article will focus primarily on the achievements of pharmacotherapy of inflammatory rheumatic diseases, considered as models for studying the fundamental mechanisms of immunopathology of human diseases and the development of new approaches to anti-inflammatory therapy, with an emphasis on the contribution of Russian rheumatology and pharmacology to the study of this problem.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Прогресс, достигнутый в расшифровке патогенетических механизмов иммуновоспалительных ревматических заболеваний, послужил основой для разработки в начале XXI в. более 20 генно-инженерных биологических препаратов, представляющих собой моноклональные антитела или рекомбинантные белки, блокирующих активность провоспалительных цитокинов и/или патологическую активацию клеток иммунной системы, а в последние годы – группы синтетических таргетных противовоспалительных препаратов, модулирующих сигнализацию цитокинов, участвующих в развитии воспаления, в первую очередь это ингибиторы Янус-киназ.
