The review examines the molecular aspects of the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, justifying the use of the JAK-kinase inhibitor (tofacitinib) in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>К крупным достижениям фармакологии XXI в. относится разработка нового класса лекарственных препаратов, представляющих собой низкомолекулярные, химически синтезированные молекулы (так называемые «малые молекулы»), точкой приложения которых являются Янус-киназы (Janus kinase, JAK), участвующие во внутриклеточной сигнализации цитокинов.
