It presents the data of clinical trials that consider OSAS as a risk factor of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). The most important factors influencing the progression of carbohydrate metabolic disturbances in patients with OSAS are analyzed. Whether OSAS can be corrected as a modifiable risk factor in patients with T2DM is considered.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Аннотация. Рассматривается возможность коррекции СОАС у больных СД2 в качестве модифицируемого фактора риска.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>obstructive sleep apnea syndrome</kwd><kwd>type 2 diabetes mellitus</kwd><kwd>insulin resistance</kwd><kwd>obesity</kwd><kwd>glycemia</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>синдром обструктивного апноэ во сне</kwd><kwd>сахарный диабет 2-го типа</kwd><kwd>инсулинорезистентность</kwd><kwd>ожирение</kwd><kwd>гликемия</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Рунихин А.Ю., Новикова Ю.В.
