Aim. To characterize specific clinical features of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in male patients. Material and methods. A total of 146 male patients with verified SLE diagnosis were examined in the Research Institute of Rheumatology. Results. Literature and original data on SLE clinical characteristics in men were analysed. Diagnostic search and variants of SLE in male patients are described. Conclusion. To upgrade knowledge on SLE clinical characteristics, further prospective trials should be made.

Цель исследования. Охарактеризовать особенности клинической картины системной красной волчанки (СКВ) у больных мужского пола. Материалы и методы. Обследовали 146 больных мужского пола с достоверным диагнозом СКВ, наблюдавшихся в НИИР РАМН. Результаты. Представлен анализ данных литературы и результатов собственных наблюдений относительно особенностей СКВ у мужчин. Показаны диагностический поиск и варианты клинической картины СКВ у больных мужского пола. Заключение. Для совершенствования знаний об особенностях клинической картины СКВ, в том числе у мужчин, необходимы дальнейшие проспективные наблюдения.
